Pocatello, Idaho Temple Ring
This ring design is inspired by the flower motifs in the baptismal font and stair railings found throughout the Pocatello, Idaho Temple. They represent the leaves of the syringa and petals of the bitterroot flowers indigenous to Pocatello. These two flowers, along with the Indian paintbrush are in almost all the design elements of the Pocatello Temple. Anciently, Solomon's temple was adorned with flower design elements. Today, that tradition is continued in temples all over the world and symbolize reproductive qualities and God's creations, both reminders of the endowment narrative.
